We held our first sunset bike ride of the Astoria/LIC waterfront on Sunday, June 26. A great group of people from the area gathered to share their knowledge of the local land, environment, history, arts and culture of the area to share. Emily Maxwell, Astoria/LIC Catalyst Coordinator from Partnerships for Parks, and Richard Melnick from Greater Astoria Historical Society led the tour, which focused on history and upcoming plans for the waterfront parks in the area.
